The good: no blisters! yay!
The not-so-good: my left shoe came *all the way off* in the middle of the game. Luckily not while kicking it. New socks are slippery on the outside, I guess. Later I re-tied my shoes and it stayed on for the rest of the game.
It was a fun game. We scored a fair bit, even! lost 9 to 5, I think. We won't have a team for the summer, but I shall hope to pick it up again in the fall.
