netmouse: (Default)
ok, a couple people did this and it seemed interesting...

Three names I go by:
Anne, Netmouse, and Favorite Youngest Daughter.

Three Jobs I have had in my life:
User Consultant (Mac, PC, UNIX), Properties, Painting & Carpentry staff person (Theater), Web Designer

Each much easier to explain than what I do now...

Three Places I have lived:
Grinnell, Iowa; Deerfield, IL (Chicagoland North); Waterloo, Ontario

I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, went to school in Grinnell and Waterloo, and in between lived in Deerfield. After a 3 1/2 month roadtrip around the country with my sister, that is. I have never lived outside of the Midwest, perhaps partly because here I feel safe from most natural disasters.

Three Favorite drinks:
Water, mojitos, pineapple juice.

For medicinal purposes I also frequently drink cranberry juice, a rum and coke with a twist of lime, or a margarita, and appreciate a sip of a nice scotch.

Three TV Shows that I watch:

Um... I sometimes watch The Daily Show. On the internet. Usually not in real time. That's pretty much it. I haven't owned a television in about 7 years.

Three places I have been:
I have been to Zion (the canyon in Utah), and recommend it. Southern Utah is just transformative in general. I have driven along some of the 127 corridor, also known as The world's longest yardsale. And I have seen the sun rise from up in a tree in The Pinery on the Candian shore of Lake Huron.

Three people who text me regularly:
[livejournal.com profile] flinx, [livejournal.com profile] atdt1991, and Doselle, who refuses to get an LJ. :P

I really do appreciate random moment texting. It nearly always cheers me up.

Three of my favorite foods:
hot dogs, avocado, sushi rolls with avocado and eel.

it sometimes seems sad from a culinary perspective, but I could eat four or five hot dogs (no bun) in a row quite happily. I do not generally keep them in the house, so that I do not gorge like that. Summer picnics are full of temptation though.

Three Things I am looking forward to:
Being able to breathe without coughing, maybe even in my own home (right now I seem wildly allergic to it); seeing everyone in the crazy chaos that is Worlcon, and hopefully helping make it a thing of not-terror for Neil; and spending a quiet anniversary weekend on labor day with [livejournal.com profile] flinx up at my uncle's cabin with my parents - good food, beautiful setting, and the love of my life getting to see our favorite family vacation spot from since, well, as long as I can remember.

Then hopefully within a few years, I'll take him to the cabin in Montana - good to get common ground between my heart, my love's heart, and also clarify family cultural references.

Three friends I think will respond:

Respond as in do this meme? memage is so outre, I doubt anyone will. Surprise me.
