Today is all about the heart.
Unless you have a snowblower, that is.
I thought I was doing cardio conditioning for soccer, but it turns out it was to shovel snow. Welcome to Michigan. Happy Valentine's day. Here's your shovel.
I felt okay after shoveling out half the driveway and one channel on the sidewalk to the front door. Most of it was around a foot deep. Then I went to the gym and swam for 20 minutes to work the kinks out.
My car isn't in as good shape for this weather. Too light, for one thing (a VW Jetta). It keeps sliding (to the right, dunno why) in the deep snow. Okay on cleared roads, but hard to navigate messy intersections. Maybe the sun will melt it down (into slush! yay!) by the time I head home.
