Discovery home safe - hurrah

Woke Bill up this morning at 5 to find they'd switched landing sites, and went back to sleep... came up after breakfast to find him sitting quietly with happy tears in the corners of his eyes listening to the radio, and sat with him while we listened to the last thousand feet of the Discovery's safe descent.

I might have gotten a little sniffly, myself.

We pray for one last landing
On the globe that gave us birth;
Let us rest our eyes on fleecy skies
And the cool, green hills of Earth.

Plug for a friend's performance this Saturday

This coming Saturday, the 13th, is the Raucous Review show at the
Riverside Arts Center (76 N. Huron) in Ypsi. There are two
performances: the first at 7:30 pm and the second at 10 pm. There will
be Jazz music, Stand-up comedy, some other fun stuff and of course
Monkey Rampant sketch comedy. Tix are $10 at the door, or you can get
them in advance at Haab's Restaurant (around the corner from the
R.A.C.).
