Anyone want to go? If so, what day?

YOUNG ADAM
Joe (Ewan McGregor), a transient, finds work on a barge
owned by Ella (Tilda Swinton). One afternoon, her husband
Leslie (Peter Mullan) and Joe discover a young woman's
(Emily Mortimer) corpse floating in the canal. After the
police investigate and arrest a suspect, we learn of Joe's
relationship with the deceased. Meanwhile, an implicit
attraction develops between Joe and Ella and claustrophobic
tensions arise among the three in the confines of the barge.
Based on Scottish writer Alexander Trocchi's 1954 novel;
directed by David Mackenzie. Rated NC-17.
WHAT CRITICS SAY:
"Emily Mortimer ... McGregor, and especially Swinton are as
frank and fearless with their NC-17 naked bodies as
Mackenzie is uncompromised in conveying Trocchi's sulfurous
purview on labor and lust to the screen."
-- Jessica Winter, VILLAGE VOICE
"It's a movie drama with a surface so bleak and an interior
so hot with eroticism that it twists your guts to watch it."
-- Michael Wilmington, CHICAGO TRIBUNE
"This is an almost Dostoyevskian study of a man brooding upon
evil until it paralyzes him."
-- Roger Ebert, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES

Cheryl has posted this month's edition of Emerald City, which includes my penguicon con report. It's a diary-style con report, but I tried to include items of general interest.

... hope you like it.
