Does anyone else dislike the halloween color theme thing here?

I picked my LJ style because I like it. Black and dripping red is not what I picked. Am I out of bounds thinking this is lame?

After a down day, I spent some time practicing guitar, and I'm feeling a little better. I'm planning to bring my guitar to windycon, btw - if you're coming and want to play a little music maybe find me in the ConFusion room Friday night at 10 or so and we'll see what we can do.

I found the chords for Joni Mitchell's "Urge for Going" in my copy of Rise up Singing tonight, which felt appropriate considering the current shift in weather. I'm nowhere near being able to do her finger-picking, but the chords worked fairly well. I might have to pick up a thumb pick and play around with it. Here's the song for those who don't know it:
