In Tucson, AZ

I'm visiting my brother and his family for the weekend. it's over a hundred degrees out but doesn't really feel like it because it's so dry. (and it's pretty cool inside.. almost feels chilly with shorts on). We hit the pool this morning and that was a lot of fun, but I think I've had my quota of sun for the day, at least on my face. Good thing Bill set my new Soartech baseball cap on Stitch's head so I brought it (yes, I brought Stitch too, and he was a mighty nice pillow on the plane trip here).

The last few weeks have been so much more relaxed than the previous five or twenty months, it's been really nice. I need to do more of this just "hanging out" stuff...

I'm here until Tuesday then heading up to phoenix for a two-day workshop I'm going to for work, then Friday I meet Rikhei and Brendan and Bill in Chicago to go to Madison for Wiscon.
