Ginjer is a great editor, but she doesn't edit so much, these days. She's in charge of a line that publishes something like 180 books a year -- she doesn't have time to edit!
(So my books that she publishes are mostly edited by my agent, who used to be an editor at Avon-EOS a decade ago -- except when they're edited by my editors at Orbit or Golden Gryphon.)

Maybe we need a different term for that. To distinguish them from the editors who, like, actively edit. I think it varies a little on a per-project basis, though.
