There's some spot on my toe that's irritated when I walk. When I poke my toe with my finger, it all feels fine. But when I walk, it hurts. I'm not even totally sure which toe it is...

annoying!

I bought new shoes recently, and have had that problem with one of my toes. My shoe is bruising it horribly. I think things are starting to get better, but it still hurts. Unlike you though, I can localize it to a particular toe.

Perhaps yours isn't a toe, but a tendon or muscle. That might only respond to being pulled on or stretched while you're walking, and would respond to pushing on much. It would also be hard to localize.

I think I got it figured, actually.. when it occurred to me it might be one toe hurting the other, I check and sure enough my littlest toe had a really pointy corner on the toenail - when I cut it off, the other toe gradually got less sensitive and now it doesn't hurt at all.

sure. I went and read through some of your journal the day, too. I don't read it regularly 'cause I try not to spend *that* much time on this thing...

have fun (if at all possible),

*laugh* I thought it was fun finding you on LJ.

I spend all day sitting at a computer, so, I sometimes spend a lot of time on LJ. I should probably spend less.
