Chinese new year and signs of the zodiak

So I'm curious, do you other folks out there celebrate Chinese New Year?

And do you know your chinese zodiak sign? Is it one you relate to?

Brian and I were born the same year, the year of the tiger. 36 years later, Rosie was also born in the year of the tiger. We think that's pretty neat. :)

I didn't know about the elements when I was younger, but most of the basic Tiger description matches me pretty well. Except that we are supposed to have a temper, and most of the time I don't.

However, I am also a Wood Tiger, and according to an (also dubious) site I read, that's supposed to be a stabilizing element that helps us get along with other people.

That's neat that you are a Horse. Tigers are supposed to be good friends with Horses, but since the signs are not close in the cycle, most of the friends whose signs I've known are neither horse nor dog, the signs I'm supposed to be best friends with.
