Chinese new year and signs of the zodiak

So I'm curious, do you other folks out there celebrate Chinese New Year?

And do you know your chinese zodiak sign? Is it one you relate to?

Brian and I were born the same year, the year of the tiger. 36 years later, Rosie was also born in the year of the tiger. We think that's pretty neat. :)

Whoa, three tigers in one house? That sounds explosive.

I'm year of the rabbit (wood rabbit, apparently) and I identify with that a bit more than my Western sign (Sagittarius). I'm not stylish, but the rest of it fits: quiet, needs a well-organized home, good communicator, avoids confrontation, outgoing but doesn't like the spotlight.

I don't generally celebrate Chinese new year as such, but my sister Reyna has a birthday that usually coincides with it, so we get caught in the traffic when we meet up for dim sum.

According to one of the sites someone linked to elsethread, Tigers are supposed to get along pretty well. Brian and I are also wood tigers, which is a stabilizing element. Rosie's a Metal Tiger, the most assertive and attention-demanding. Sounds about right!

The Sagittarian intellectualism fits with me, but other things about the western system have never synced with reality. For instance, I read somewhere that Sagittarians are not supposed to get along well with each other, yet at least half my good friends are also Sagittarians.
