Chinese new year and signs of the zodiak
So I'm curious, do you other folks out there celebrate Chinese New Year?
And do you know your chinese zodiak sign? Is it one you relate to?
Brian and I were born the same year, the year of the tiger. 36 years later, Rosie was also born in the year of the tiger. We think that's pretty neat. :)

I've known about it since I was a kid - my Grandma gave me an adorable little cloisonee monkey pendant when I was young. I identify with the monkey, but I've always been puzzled at the way they match up different signs for romantic compatibility.
I never celebrated the Chinese New Year, but I might go to the Japanese Mochitsuki events at UM this Saturday: http://www.ii.umich.edu/cjs/eventsprograms/specialevents/ci.cjss9thannualmochitsukisat12jan2013_ci.detail because I have a friend who'll be on the drum team that's performing. (Yes, I know, tangent from Chinese to Japanese. Just because it's timely.)
