Does anyone else dislike the halloween color theme thing here?

I picked my LJ style because I like it. Black and dripping red is not what I picked. Am I out of bounds thinking this is lame?

I'm only seeing it on the main pages, it's not overriding my personal style for my journal or my friendspage.

I'm seeing it inconsistently as the bar thing across the top of the page. I haven't figured out why yet - it's not showing up on my friends page, but I'm seeing on http://www.livejournal.com/ and when I look at some (but not all) of my friends pages using their styles.

Yeah - I see it across the top and sides of those pages, except the login box is the normal blue and white. If anything, it looks bad because its so weirdly inconsistent because of the frames.

I have "see other people's journals in my style" turned on, which I think is helping to keep it away when I comment on other people's journals, too. (I had it set that way before, but it seems to be helpful for this, too.)
