small joys

The other day I celebrated the fact that the last batch of eggs I hard-boiled came out perfectly. Even days later the eggs peeled easily, and were a wonderful consistency.

Being closer to work and taking the bus a few days of week to stave off gas price annoyance (not that I ever lived *too* far away, but now taking the bus is actually practical on a daily basis).
