Michigan voters: *Do* vote in today's primary!

Don't let yourself be discouraged by the democratic party's uppitiness!

Either: a) vote in the republican primary, preferably for someone other than McCain to keep the competition in the running
Or b) Vote Undecided!

Yes, the ONLY way to vote for a democrat other than the very few candidates who are listed on the democratic ballot is to vote undecided. write-in campaigns are not authorized!! if 15 % or more of michigan's democrats vote undecided, then if we get to send delegates to the national convention they will not be tied to voting for someone on the current ballot and can then support Obama or Edwards or whomever.

I was unable to vote primarily due to the auto show, but let me state my opinion. I will eat my (paper) hat if Michigan gets democratic delegates. Seriously. I realize it may sound cynical, but I think the state congress's position of "Oh, they don't mean it" is B.S., and they just don't give a damn because they get what they want - our declared voting preferences.

What precedent do they have for thinking the national party will give them votes when they said they wouldn't? None that I'm aware of. I have been completely beside myself in shock that I have heard next to nothing in the news in the past week about how, if all decisions made now STAND, voting for a democratic primary candidate is essentially a complete waste of time.

(Now, voting on other things at the same time, that's different, but what the hell, people.)
