Flaming Hair Could Mean Flaming Pain - a recent study on women indicates that redheads are more sensitive to pain and need more anesthetic.

By the way, I hope you don't mind outrageous flirtation. I'm guilty as charged on that count. Especially to cute, sci-fi reading, writing, readheaded, interesting people.

well, just so you know, I'm not a redhead. My hair is light brown. unless you ask Emily Stuckey, who as far as I know still calls it blonde.

I'll freely admit the rest apply, but you should perhaps know I'm monogamously married. I enjoy flirtatious interaction as much as the next gal, and you seem like a neat person I'd like to get to know better, but I don't want to be setting up any false expectations.

Oh... musta been the light that makes it look red in the picture. I have a habit of calling brownish/blonde red, though. *shrugs* Go figure.

As for the flirtation... heck, if there were expectations, I would probably be too nervous to flirt. I'm pretty well self-defeating like that.

Oh, and I like the new icon. :-)

mmm.. could be. it was taken near sunset... very warm light.

I always liked to think my hair was "golden" when I was younger. that would have some red in it...

This icon was the first one I ever used in livejournal. I just returned to it this week. I see yours is more recent. :)
