- a recent study on women indicates that redheads are more sensitive to pain and need more anesthetic.

And hear I thought it just meant you were cuter. :-)
However, that might also explain why Redheads stereotypically had fiery tempers, too. Anyone would be tempermental when people kept telling them "Com'on! That could'n'a hurt!"
