It seems like I need a new resolution...
I stayed off sweets quite successfully for Lent, and now Lent is over and I once again find myself tempted by the sweet snacks that are all over the place at work. But I'm still hypoglycemic and these things will still make me ill. So, henceforth, I am resolving thus: I will not eat sugared foods except as part of a specific celebration, such as a birthday or wedding, from now until the beginning of June.

I'd recommend you have something that is good for you there, so you don't feel deprived at work.

I have a snack at 10 and a snack at 3 and try to eat a small lunch. I don't feel deprived - I have good things to snack on. But the cookies and junk snacks (potato chips, cheetos, etc) and the freezer full of ice cream bars are tempting.
