New idea: Saturday night dancing?

So, pondering what to do after the Monkey Rampant show on Saturday, I was thinking it would be fun to go out dancing. Trick is, I'm allergic to cigarettes.

Does anyone know a good place to go dancing that isn't all smoky and has good music on a Saturday night?

Glad you found the Neil handling bit interesting and glad you drifted over to the journal. Con running can be addictive, I feel I should warn you, but I also find it tremendously fun and rewarding. Getting to know authors is definitely one of the top fringe benefits. And one of the nice things about it is that there are tons of people who do know better and will happily tell you all about it, if you find them at a good time. They even run conventions about running conventions (http://www.smofcon.org). And they/we also write and edit fanzines and discussion groups...

I try not to spend my whole life on that one topic and am actually really looking forward to Penguicon 3.0 (http://www.penguicon.org), when I will no longer be chairing ConFusion and will only be Cory Doctorow's liaison for the weekend.

At worldcon in Scotland next summer, (assuming Neil doesn't go) I will only be helping run the Hugo Awards. If you're going to be attending and would like a backstage volunteer position that affords some shmoozing with author and editor types, let me know.

I like your user icon - Manara, right? I have a bunch of his stuff in Spanish I should really finish reading but I'm afraid my spanish is getting worse than rusty. :(
