I have to wonder why this meme specifies someday rather than at the next available opportunity. It certainly narrows it down.

The first thing I noticed when I walked into your house for a party a year ago, moments before I met you, was issues of Free Inquiry on the coffee table. I thought to myself, "yep, I'm going to get along with whoever lives here just fine." So here is what I intended to do since that time. I would like to ask who in your house subscribes to this periodical, and more importantly why, in as much detail as one is comfortable providing. Such things, in my experience, are personal questions and I tend to put them off until I know someone well. So, someday.
