Good article, thanks. I learned in the last 10 years about how integration in my Southern hometown meant a lot of black teachers lost their jobs, never to get them back.

Do you know what any of those fired black teachers from your hometown went on to do?

No, I don't. There were some black teachers at my middle and junior high schools, but not many.
