The new normal continues

We had a decent weekend, how about you?

We did a 1,000 piece puzzle, endured dreary rainy days with movies and ice cream (Hellboy, Charlie's Angels; moosetracks for me, vanilla cones for Rosie. I'm not sure what Brian had), plus some zooming with friends.

Today we are zooming all day - Brian recorded his lectures for the morning, I had a meeting at noon, then at 2 we have a test zoom with Rosie's teacher, and at 6 pm a test zoom with TAFE for a workshop Rosie's taking.

Today there was a nice bit of sunshine for a while, and Rosie and I took a screenbreak with an exercise game where we wrote exercises on slips of paper and took turns pulling them out of a purse for the other person to do. Pretty good workout, really. :)

I am okay, but I need to add more structure to my weekends because this past weekend I mentally slumped. Today is better.

Leonard and I have been watching the documentary Baseball and it's been a lot of fun!

Sounds like a neat documentary. So much Ken Burns awesome, so little time.

I started watching the Netflix show inside the mind of Bill Gates the other day. Interesting so far. I have long been a fan of Melinda's work, both inside Microsoft and in general. Sounds like she's still bringing the awesome Human Factors analysis to things that they do.

Are you old enough to remember the Zoom television program? (Or did you ever do anything so hopelessly plebian as to watch children's television programming as a child?) Whenever the subject comes up, I want to sing their very-silly theme song: "Come on and Zoom, zoom, zoom-a zoom..."

Would love to have singalongs with you, Zoom-y or not.

I do NOT remember that show, no... I just went and watched the intro and it rings no bells. Looks like a fun program though. And it's sad to realize the cast is more unabashedly integrated than any kids show cast I have seen recently...


My number has not changed. a singalong sounds like fun!

I'll be rummaging for that number. If you get a 314 number calling and you pick up and the caller says, "Mahna mahna," or something similar, do not be alarmed.
