regular fees for living

Well, I just paid the city for our right to own property here for the winter. And I paid the state for the right to operate my particular vehicle for another year.

I got my oil changed, got some christmas stamps, and picked up the copy of the BBC production of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere the library was holding for me.

Then I came home and started a pork loin roast cooking, and finished off the dishes.

I'm beat.
