Space Dog Podcast: featuring new and old recordings of science fiction and fantasy authors!
Hello Everybody!
Please help get the word out about a new podcast, The Space Dog Podcast. The Space Dog Podcast is the official podcast of the Science Fiction Oral History Association (www.SFOHA.org). SFOHA is a non-profit dedicated to the recorded history of Science Fiction.
The first audio episode is from 1976 and features Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, Lester del Rey, Frederik Pohl, and Gordon R. Dickson. That's four Science Fiction Grand Masters. Yes, we pulled out the big guns for this one. They are all featured in a one hour show called The Ballantine Science Fiction Hour. It's quite fun to hear these masters shoot the you-know-what.

It is inclusively about topics science fictional and fannish. Convention recordings of fans and pros alike, other recordings of interest to fans.
The conversation just podcasted may be all authors, but one of them won the Hugo award for best fanwriter this year...drawing a hard line between the history of fandom and the history of produm doesn't make much sense to me. Most of our catalog of our recordings is on the website. If there's a more faanish one you'd like to see podcasted, please let us know.
