AWC looking for very short-term volunteer to help award scholarship

The Ann Arbor Association for Women in Computing is looking for someone who is not a member of the AWC to join the committee to review applications for the women in computing scholarship they give out annually. They are hoping to complete this process very soon. Participation would involve reviewing 9 applications online and attending one meeting (I think it's going to be Sunday July 25 at 1 pm). Let me know if you can help out, or contact the head of the scholarship committee, Susan Gross, at Susan.Gross (at) infor.com.

That's neat! And I would totally do it if my computer job wasn't keeping me out of town the day of the meeting. (There's a problem they may not have though about...women in computing are *busy*! ;)

But I'm really glad that there's a scholarship for that. REALLY glad. Thank you!

other than the whole "women" thing I'd love to help out... but alas... I've a Y chromosome. If that isn't a barrier to helping out here... put my name in the hat.
