speaking of recommendations
I'll be in Columbus tomorrow judging a science fair at Ohio State University. Should finish up around noon and will be looking to grab lunch - recommendations would be greatly appreciated. (I already know about Jeni's ice creams and may check out the Short North district).

And I'm still upset that Elaine didn't pick up a par-baked from Katzinger's when she was in Columbus last weekend.

But of course don't forget the Ohioana Book Festival tomorrow at the Library of Ohio. :)

It's in between campus and downtown, so I just might!

I will also be in C'bus tomorrow -- late afternoon/evening for some miscellaneous galavanting. If you're still around, care to join me? It's my friends Squish's weekend-long birthday party. (Did you meet her at Co? I think maybe not.)
Also: in the mood for a Columbus excursion this evening? I think I'm going to see Rachael Sage in concert. You could imagine her music as what you'd get if you crossed Ani DiFranco with lipstick lesbian lounge singer...
*joys*

Why don't i give you a call after the show?
(No excursions for tonight, thanks. I have to report for judging at 8 am, so it's early to bed tonight)
ps if you can email me a likely address in advance, I always appreciate the chance to orient on a map before coming

I agree with Tammy that the meatloaf at Betty's is tasty, but the restaurant can get very crowded from the conference center traffic that is only a few blocks away so don't go at peak times.

I also heartily second Tammy's suggestion of Betty's, which is fantastic.
