Introduce yourself...

A number of people have friended me lately who have usernames I don't immediately recognize. If I haven't friended you back, here is an invitation to introduce yourself and let me know if we've met ( in person or online) or if not how you came to my blog and what interests we might have in common.

Ha! You don't know me from Adam... or Eve, either for that matter. We've never met 'cause I don't get out much. (I live in the middle of nowhere and LIKE it here.)

I'm an SF writer, among other things.

I saw a few of your responses and you seemed interesting - so I "friended" you so you'd appear (It's MAGIC!) on my "friend's page" when you post something.

Reciprocal "friending" is not required... unless you want to see the stuff *I* post, which can be interesting if you're into motorcycles or finance and economics... and I recently posted about the demise of my long-lived guppie.

I'm also a former accountant, corp controller, etc.

And NO! I do NOT think bailouts are good for the nation OR the economy, and neither does Anna Jacobson Schwartz!!! (In a recent WSJ piece, she said if Bernanke were a General, he'd be fighting the last war.) We also agree that Ben Bernanke has NO idea of what he's doing. I call him "Bungling Ben" and predict that he won't get the customary second term at the helm of the Fed because between now and 2010 the economy will continue to tank despite the "bail-outs"!
