Midwest Construction 2 recordings

I have digital copies of the three tapes I made at MWC 2. All participants gave permission for them to be posted online, so I'll try to get MP3s online in not too long. In the meantime, if anyone who will be at Windycon wants a copy of the .wav version of your MWC panel on CD, please let me know. Here are the descriptions:

Midwest Construction 2
September 19-21, 2003, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

MWC 2003.9.20.1
Organizing Program Planning
Databases, spreadsheets, post-it notes on the wall. Discuss methods for planning programming.
Jim Mann, Steven Silver, Ian Stockdale, Amanda Foubister

MWC 2003.9.20.2
At-Con Publications Critique
Last year we did fliers, this year we'll do pocket programs, souvenir books, and other at-con publications. Bring yours, and be prepared to critique others.
Anne KG Murphy, Deb Kosiba

MWC 2003.9.20.3
The Great Green Room Debate
Exclusive ConSuite for pros or empty room with a clock? Of course it's not as cut and dry as all that. Throw in you two cents on the form and function of convention green rooms.

As one of the participants (and someone who has programmed a worldcon), I'd be interested in seeing the software.

The tip of the iceburg is at http://ucon-gaming.org Registration and event submission have closed, but you can still see the event listings. It will take some time to get it ready for another convention to use, but I have been considering selling it. I can give a tour of the back end of the website. See http://www.gameconsuite.com/ for a rundown of the features.

WorldCon is probably too big for this software, as it's only had one developer. It's appropriate for a small to medium sized convention with lots of small events (we have 200-300).

I'd prefer to not leave my email address here (cause I'm just paranoid) but there is a contact form on the U-Con website you can use to get ahold of me. Also, [livejournal.com profile] netmouse has my contact info.

Thanks. I'll look around, although since my major con starts this weekend, it will be a little bit of time. We usually run around a 1400 person membership with around 100 program participants.

I can be reached at my username @sfsite.com.
