I'm feeling much better now...

I even had the oomph to do a little weeding and replant some pansies when I got home today. Now I'm planning to feed the fish, change the laundry, eat dinner and watch Blue Streak, and fall asleep listening to the Chopin CD I just bought at Encore records.

Bill is away, Rikhei is all moved out and hopefully having fun in her first evening in the new apartment, and I am blissfully looking forward to going to bed early.

( and I'm trying not to be concerned that Bill hasn't called me to say he reached HamVention safely.)

Well, HamVention is in Dayton, and they haven't invented phones there yet so he might just be having trouble finding a way to contact you. Cell phones instantly fall apart in the vicinity as well, because they are too advanced.

If he's anything like me, either he arrived and met some interesting people and is too engrossed in discussion to think of anything else, or else he's trying to raise you on a turkey ham radio that isn't compatible with your honey baked.

(Though "honey baked" also sounds prophetic if he doesn't call you soon.)
