GW never crashed - but I understand that he never crashed because he flew so seldom. One person, a friend of GW's, who rode along with GW in a single engine prop plane, said he'd never ride with him again! He said He was amazed that GW was still alive.

Also, even if it's true, Presidents rarely need to fly their own planes.

I also dislike the tactic of tying McCain to GWB. It's unquestionably effective, but not substantive.
