I don't know why I'm up this early

But there were things I wanted to do. Which I think had something to do with it.

Now that I've sorted out the books from my office shelves that I don't want to keep any more, and reorganized the pantry to have room for the snacks from the shelving unit I took out of the kitchen, I might go back to bed.

Are you selling/giving away your unwanted books? My cooperating teacher has a "community library" in her room (because the school library is very small and badly kept) which she allows students to "borrow" from (she utilizes a card system, much like libraries used to do, so if she doesn't get a book back, she can charge the student for said book, same goes for fining a student if the book comes back in terrible repair) for their "choice reading" projects.

I love her idea, and it's one that I want to use as well - but I hate her book selection!!! She mainly has "bestseller list" trash, like James Patterson, an over-abundance of Stephen King and lots of "romance - light" books. I've already brought in and donated some of my horror, mystery/thrillers, historical fiction and some young adult lit that I don't think I'll ever use, but she's letting me keep "my books" separate so that if I want, I can use them in my own room once I'm hired somewhere! Yeah!

I totally went off on a tangent, but if you are giving books away, I'd love to leaf through them the next time I come out! :)
