Aaand... xkcd takes a serious turn today. Make sure you look at the mouseover.

I have a lot of people I love who have very real problems, some of them with depression mixed in. And I'm sorry I can't help them more. And it is hard to accept sometimes.

Yesterday turned into a day of near disasters for me. Everything turned out right but by the middle of the day I was ready to go back to bed and start over. Which I kind of did. Slept for 3 hours, had dance class, shoveled, worked with Dell on a problem with my laptop, just generally got caught up online. Hopefully all stuff that had low potential disaster impact, though shoveling all winter has hurt my back and driving through the snow seemed somewhat treacherous too. I have to shovel more today so I'm going to go do a careful warm-up and stretch first, since it seems to be tightness in the back of my left leg that's messing me up. There are only two injury points on that leg; I don't see why it should be giving me problems...

I had to read xkcd a couple times to make sure I hadn't missed something. Then I went and read some of the comments. A serious turn for sure, but it seems it may have done more good than harm. I hope that's the case. It's certainly making me cling to my personal tribe a little closer.

I was hoping someone else I knew would take note of it.
