Painting Goodness

So... As of a couple hours ago, we sorted out the last of the stuff to be divided and Bill's stuff is moved out of the house. It's been an emotional and difficult weekend, but went in some ways better than I expected. I'm going to write some in my handwritten journal about it, which actually I have not written in in a surprisingly long time.

Anyway, I just hit the "Wander around the house and think about what's next" phase, and the back bedroom is completely empty, fraught with possibilities. I have just now decided to paint the walls before I put stuff in it, so if you're the type of person who likes to help with such projects, or even just stand around and supervise such projects, please let me know if one or more of these days works for you to come by and participate in my next painting project:

If there weren't these pesky hundreds of miles between us, I'd come help paint that empty bedroom and then entice you to Toad Woods to help paint my silly stairway and upstairs hall. It's only silly because I've been going to paint it ever since elaine_brennan helped me rip off the wallpaper before my belongings were delivered back in June, 2004. I really thought I was going to finally get to it last August -- debgeisler and Gavi WINOLJ both helped remove the last of the dried paste and related gunk. I left the paint supplies and work tables set up at the end of my bed until I needed to clear the tables to take them to Smofcon. This year for sure, eh?

As my friend mizzlaurajean said just earlier today, "The problem with any given day is that there are 500 things I want to accomplish."
