sleigh is going to be honored at Applecon, a new Minneapolis convention "of music, friends, SF, and pie!"
Steve is a dear friend not because I know him that well (though it has been a few years at this point), but because it is always a joy to see him. He is the author, artist, music, and fan guest of Applecon, to be held April 11-13 in 2008. I may have to put this one on my calendar. In fact, I already did.
