Er, homophobic regarding women? I can't imagine what possible increase in risk that could possibly provide.

Homophobic regarding my male partners who have had sex with other men since 1970. Even though they haven't had sex with men in years, have tested negative, etc.

Yeah, it really peeves me, and I've been tempted to donate anyway. I mean, I'm freakin' O negative, which is the highest-demand blood type.

It just pains me to know how often we have shortages, when they refuse perfectly good donors like me.
