Stardust: Saturday, August 11

Jeff has suggested an evening outing to see Stardust on Saturday. It comes out on Friday but I have dance on Friday anyway. Who's up for it? Do you have a preference for theaters? What time would you want to go? Dinner first? Where?

I suggested a Livonia theater to the Stilyagi list because it seems more central to ALL of SE Michigan Fandom than Ann Arbor, but I don't know who might come from over that way, so let me know if you might come and if you have a location preference.

I might be in for that, and would *certainly* prefer the Livonia theatres. The trailer looks like they did a good job of capturing the fairy tale feel of the story, so I'm looking forward to it.

That be cool. Buca would be good, though you really need to hit that place with a cooperative group. The entrees are expensive, but feed about three people (seriously!) so sharing is mandatory.

There a "faux" Irish pub up the street which is not bad, as long as you don't expect actually authentic Irish food. (A sauce with raspberry on the bangers and mash. Shudder.) I forget the name, but could find it easily. Maybe I'll take a pass that way when I come home from work tomorrow (I work just down the road) and see what else is right there.
