Houdini Fish
The Oscar with hole-in-the-head (who is healing, btw) gave me a scare tonight. A long time ago we separated him into a sub-section of the tank so he'd have a better chance at getting food. I guess today he decided he'd had enough of that. I went in there and his section was empty!
My first instinct was too look around the tank in case he had jumped all the way out (his section was not completely covered), but closer inspection of the other part of the tank proved that he had just somehow managed to get over the separator and join the other fish. Tomorrow I will reward him by removing the separator completely and, who knows, maybe even giving the tank a cleaning...
