Thanks. I'd thought about posting it as a comment to the snippet you posted, then decided to make it its own post. I've really been thinking a lot about my own feelings and interests, as well as other people's - this quote makes me reflect on that in terms of how I've treated other people and not just on how other people have treated me.

So sad. The more I live, the more I realize that love, in all the forms I experience it (romantic, platonic, maternal), is about surrendering to it. So much easier said than done.
