well, I may or may not have helped, but the proposed West Liberty development that I just sat through 5 hours of city council meeting in the hopes of defeating has, in fact, been defeated. The vote was very close, 6 to 5.

general stuff. Illustrations, jokes, stories about fen. Stories by fen. Con Reports. Book and story and magazine and fanzine reviews. Movie reviews. Game reviews. Game ideas. Art criticism. Other such commentary. Poetry, songs, quotes.
The focus of the group is midwest fandom and increasing the connectedness within that, and I think a major connection gap these days is between older fen (who more typically read and write for 'zines) and younger fen (who are less likely to). So I'm really hoping to get you and other friends involved. I'm not planning to be real discriminatory, though I may edit things for quality or length and I would not publish slanderous things...
