New Hair Day

With some assistance from Brendan (and much complaining from the cat, who then mysteriously fell silent when we actually paid attention to her and asked her what was so important), here is a picture of me with a new hair color I had put it yesterday - close to my natural color, to cover the still-growing-out light blond from two years ago when I got it highlighted to play Buffy in the stage version of the musical episode.

I'm pretty happy with it.

You're looking very nice! Your story about hair color does remind me of something Lisa has to deal with. Her natural hair color is ash blonde -- a sort of mixed dark and blonde. Sometimes she has it dyed a solid blonde (once she dyed it solid auburn-red to better match her Commander Lisa Hayes ROBOTECH costume) -- but when she does the all-blonde dye job, people assume she's let it go back to her "natural" color. She finds this alternatively amusing and frustrating.

yeah, that's a nice thing about this color job - it's designed to let some variation in color, highlights, etc, show through. Most people's hair does vary, so it looks most natural that way.

I think much of the country has probably forgotten what a natural blonde looks like in any case, which is pretty sad.
