Bill called last night and explained what to do with the green beans. I put them in any tank with a plecostamus. I put a little one in the 20-gallon tank just now, and the little pleco in there went right to it and seemed like he'd never been more excited in his life.

Did the pleco ... um... *eat* it, or what?

yes! the pleco ate the green bean, with vigor! Which with a pleco looks like he's vibrating with excitement while trying to visit every inch of of the green bean with his mouth, regardless of whether or not this leaves him upside-down. -- Plecostomi are algea eaters with larger sucker-type mouths on their bottom side.
