Um, that's *my* water...
I like to keep a glass of water on the side table next to the bed. The cat seems to consider any freestanding water in glasses to be her drinking water, however, and I've failed to convince her the side table is a *table*, meaning one of those places where she's not allowed. Last night, thinking I was being clever, I tried keeping my water in a tall german glass that is too narrow for her head to fit into it.
In the middle of the night I woke to see her walk over and twice reach her paw into the glass and lift water up to her mouth to lick it off.
... I have to admire her cleverness, I guess.
I think next I try to find a place upstairs for her to have a second bowl of fresh water.
