I have a bunch of stretch lace boyshorts that are great for special occasions but not quite comfortable enough for everyday wear. They're super cute. :>
On the last question- I hate white underwear, but I like buying the multi-packs of "high-cut briefs" or sporty underwear, and to get the fun colors and stripes I like, I usually have to put up with one pair of white ones as well. I wish they didn't always put white ones in those multi-packs!
I buy those multipacks, too. The white ones stay in the back of my drawer for laundry emergencies or period emergencies where I won't mind throwing them away afterwards.
I actually really like Victoria's Secret briefs, I think 'high leg cut.' They're pretty well made (e.g. don't deteriorate), and are comfy yet look (I think) good. I usually get the charcoal or heather grey, some black, occasionally the red ones, just for variety. ;)
Hrmm, I was referred here by another journal, and didn't really notice until the last question or two that perhaps men's underwear wasn't the subject. Oops. :)
Dark colors for my feminine side! Seriously, you've met me. I am extremely pale. Dark colors are more flattering and make a much more striking contrast. Pale colors just kind of make me look like I'm trying to have yuppie camoflage or something. (I do have pale colors/white, for the rare times when I'm wearing light-colored skirts or trousers. But only a few.)
I like to coordinate more than match exactly.
I have had a few patterns of skivvies one might accurately label "psychedelic." These amuse me.
I have one particular supercomfortable very cute kind of underwear I like, and I can find it very easily because I know exactly which stores do and do not carry it. I should buy some more this week when I'm out, actually. The wee dogbeast chewed through a pair last week when she was nervous about markgritter leaving. They're not string bikinis, they're double-string: more comfortable, still cute.
