Happy (My) Birthday

Well, I'm 32 today. One of my favorite numbers.

[livejournal.com profile] brendand left me the sweetest card and a gift on the kitchen table. I also opened some gifts family friends had sent me and am thus wearing my brand new birthday black cashmere sweater. Mum and dad are coming over tonight and also a couple friends for dinner and maybe a game or two. I wasn't in the mood for something elaborate. Missing Bill a lot (he'll be home in about a week, looks like).

I've gotten a lot of well wishes so far and I appreciate them all. Thank you, for your thoughts and your friendship.

My parents used to always ask me to supply them with a list of things I want, so I created an amazon wish list a while back. I'm not really in much of a wanting things mood, except that I'm feeling a bit sick of the music I currently have. I'm also feeling like I should really get an aftermarket 6-cd changer for my car. It would make me so much happier, I think. I had one in my last car and I miss it. And I always need more black socks (crew length, preferably relatively thin dress socks). I just added some to my wish list.

can you give me a hint? I can see you're a grinnellian but I'm not sure which one...

Oops - I forgot my name didn't appear anywhere...it's Donna. :-)

I guess the only real picture I have on my LJ is this one from Halloween
http://curvygoodness.livejournal.com/2630.html and I don't really look like my "normal" self.

that's what I *thought*!

:)

*hugs*
Welcome to this part of LJ. I've been missing you. [livejournal.com profile] becoming_writer, [livejournal.com profile] murphyw, and [livejournal.com profile] vaxjedi are other Grinnellians you probably remember (and there are lots out there, but I'll stop there.)
