momentary heart skip

I'm tired and I wanted to set my phone so that it was no longer on vibrate but would now ring, so I held down the corner button until it --SAID PHONE LOCKED?!? wait, no, wrong button, and I tried to do something with it (you are probably guessing by now that I do not typically lock my phone) and I frantically tried a couple of my standard passwords to no avail until something in me clicked and said calmly "you have been here before. the default password is xxxx and you have never changed it" and I tried that and it worked. So I am not in fact far from home and without a phone. which is, you know, a relief.
