I promised pictures from the painting, so here you are. Purple and red in the kitchen, white and brown in the basement. Later once the windows are replaced I think I'll add some other color in the kitchen. some sort of blue, maybe, from my sister's painting. See the whole set Here

Very cool! We've got a similar purple to that, but it's nowhere most people will ever see it (timprov's room). The accent red really makes it pop.

("Pop" is my mother's favorite verb when it comes to decorating, and I'm afraid it's rubbed off on me.)

cool. we had the purple left over from brendand's bedroom. Bill is generally "querulous" about purple, he said on the phone last night (his term, not mine), but he's off hiking the appalachian trail until the end of November, so he doesn't get to vote for change until after he gets home.
