One of Bill's fellow hikers posted a picture of him (Pi) descending Mahoosuc Arm:





His stories about climbing up and down steep and rocky grades were impressive even before I saw this picture.

Holy crap! That's a serious grade! How much of that is he actuallly running into?

That's some of the steepest, but I see something that steep prety often, just not as a sustained down like Mahoosuc was. It's often rock climbing with a pack on... ;)
