Happy Birthday, John Scalzi!

In celebration of his birthday, scalzi has linked to a new album by Paul Simon - Suprise! - four whole tracks and samples of others in streaming audio. Check it out.

Paul Simon is one of my all-time favorite musicians. His sound keeps changing over the years and every variation has brought me joy (though, no, I was never a Simon & Garfunkel fan, particularly - but maybe that's because I've never owned any of those albums).


And if you don't read either Scalzi's blog or his AOL Journal, you should check them out too. SF industry types will generally find denser coolness in the blog but the journal is fun as well and currently features an interview with Chris Roberson.

Paul Simon was interviewed on public radio, I heard it just yesterday, along with information and clips from various of his new tracks.

I, too, really really dig his music.
