Creating a local announcements filter

Do you live in Ann Arbor, or near enough to care about local political or cultural events? Would you like to be able to see my announcements of same? Because I'm about to start filtering them to people I know to be in the area/possibly interested. if you would like to see such announcements, let me know. if you find yourself on the filter and would rather not see such anouncements, let me know that too.
