yeah... I can never remember that it is October 11th and tend to think it's in November. If I was prepared I would have, I don't know, put up signs at work or something.

In college we made a big day of it, chalking positive messages on all the sidewalks and staging events across campus.

One year Pip Gordon made a portable closet with a big door so people could come out of it.

I'm not very out, myself. I mean, I'm bisexual and I'll discuss that if the topic comes up, but I don't do anything to specifically be *out*, especially among family and in the workplace. It's good to have a day to contemplate my decisions in that regard and whether or not I want to change them in any way. For a while we had that rainbow spinner dealy hanging outside our front door at the house, but it kept blowing down. Maybe I'll hang it in my office. I wonder if it would spin...
